Dubai Islands is a cluster of five islands spanning 17 square kilometers, each offering unique features and set to host over 80 resorts and hotels.
The development will include more than 20 kilometers of beaches, including a Blue Flag-certified beach, as well as around two square kilometers of parks and open spaces.
It will also feature premium golf courses with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf. Additionally, the lengths of the beaches and public park areas have been expanded to enhance the overall appeal of the destination.
Announced in August 2022, Dubai Islands represents Nakheel's largest project launch since 2019-20. The development aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which aims to strengthen the emirate’s position as a top global destination for residents, visitors, and investors.
Discover The Neighborhood
Dubai Islands are currently connected to the Deira area via a road extension originating from Abu Hail Road (D91). However, a significant infrastructure upgrade is underway.
A large road bridge extending from Abu Baker Al Siddique Road (D78) is currently under construction, with approximately 50% of the project completed. Once finished, this bridge will provide a more efficient and direct route to the islands.
In addition, each of the four islands will feature its own individual road bridges, ensuring seamless connectivity between them and enhancing accessibility across the entire destination.
